Testimony to the hard-working Exec and their VSL Frank, the unit has had record numbers applying to join, especially a large cohort from Year 9 - technically below Venture age but what the hell! We must be providing something that other units in the District and (dare we say it? Dare! Dare!) also clubs & societies in the school itself cannot offer. Life skills learning & a true spirit of adventure - with a capital "A" - and a capital "V"!
And seeking out that adventure, the unit is off once more to the wilds and excitement of Norway, this time to Budor, a skiing resort in wild forest and high plateau terrain, presenting ideal opportunity to complete a DofE Silver Award expedition.
