STRS runs a house system whereby all students are allocated to one of its four "Houses". There are many House competitions staged throughout the year, which reflect the importance the school places on extra-curricular activities as well as those from within the main curriculum. The house which accumulates the most points by the year's end earns the traditional title of "Cock House" and wins the coveted Cock House Trophy. The 4 houses are -
