Rugby is the premier team sport played at Tommies. We have extensive fixture lists at all levels - Junior teams at U15, U14, U13 & U12 and Senior 1st & 2nd XVs. Traditionally Rich's sides have been a major force in local school rugby circles and on occasions a side comes together which competes with the best in the country. We frequently provide individual players for the regional schools squads and occasionally one or two of these players progress to national honours.Rugby occupies the games periods throughout the Autumn Term, with squad practices and training sessions at lunchtimes and after school most days. We have a dedicated coaching staff who bring a wealth of experience to developing the skills and team play of their squads. The focus is on whole team progression with personal betterment within the team unit and although we like to win, ours is not a 'win-at-all-costs' ethos!
